Making better decisions together.

We  hear the call,,,,,,,,, Making Democracy great ,,,again

Let's face it we all want our leaders to make rational decisions based on real risk assessments
Let's face it though we may want that in theory we don't always want to be told that we must moderate our expectations or God forbid change direction -- even a bit .

Let's face it then- our leaders are not going to make rational decisions if we the people are not thinking or acting rationally . If we , for whatever reason are in a state of panic, denial or projection. If we don't really know what is causing what let alone what to do about it .

We will get the leaders we deserve.
So now we have a foundation for renewal, lets pray we face all our fears and address them together.

Let's close our eyes for a moment and be thankful -
for what we know , have learnt and have done properly by turning around and facing our foes --- within and without,  For what we have learnt from rigorous  scientific research and what we will continue to learn if we weed out the dilatants.

Whether you like him or loathe him, I trust we are all grateful that Donald Trump was not killed last week, that rain came to the pastures and that farmers keep going out into the cold to look after stock and us  .
We can so easily forget that while the majority decision and the major "party "can look like stupidity itself, it isn't always .
It can be sometimes be that , but if we talk , it is a means of finding common ground . A majority decision doesn't mean we don't go back to having our own minority views, protests , points of order and action variations if we had the persuasive power to do that.
For us epistems it may mean a better decision would have come if we had all dug a lot deeper.
